For me, east has always meant home.
I grew up in Minas Gerais, Brasil — mountains, waterfalls, wide-open land.
Not coastal, but deeply tied to nature and direction.
Years on the West Coast taught me sunsets, color, warmth.
But home kept calling me east.
Today I live on the East Coast, between Cape Cod, Plymouth, and the South Shore.
Close to the ocean. Always facing the direction that shaped me.
