Sailer’s Adventurer: Iohana Lobo — Faith, Freedom & The Art of Being Present

Sailer’s Adventurer: Iohana Lobo — Faith, Freedom & The Art of Being Present

✨ Meet Iohana

Docked in: Boston, MA

Vibe in three words: Passion. Curiosity. Art

Adventure means: “Living in alignment with who I truly am, without fear or pressure to be anything else..”

“I’m deeply drawn to art, people, travel, and culture — anything that opens my heart and broadens my perspective.”

We met at Iohana’s apartment the day before the very first Sailer’s Co. appearance at SOWA Market this Summer — a day we’d both been looking forward to for weeks, uninterrupted time for just girls. She was set to be my wingwoman, and since she lives close to the area, it finally felt like the stars aligned. We opened a bottle of wine or two, talked for hours, and then walked to the Charles River, laughing and photographing each other until the sky turned pink. It was one of those effortless daydreams that fill your soul — good conversation, creativity, and friendship flowing naturally.

Iohana is one of my best teenage-hood friends; we’ve known each other through most phases of life. She’s one of the most passionate and loving people I know — someone who speaks with intention and has a way of lifting every soul around her. Her faith and spirit shine through everything she does, and her laugh… it’s one that stays with you, warm and contagious, like a love you can’t escape.

For her, home isn’t just a place but a feeling of connection:

“It’s the peace I find in God’s presence, especially when I’m outdoors, surrounded by the beauty of nature. I’m a big fan of long walks near the Charles River, where I feel adventurous and connected to something greater. Nature is my fuel; it grounds me, resets me, and becomes a sacred space for prayer and meditation.”

Her faith is always at the forefront, and she’s always searching for that natural connection.

“What sets my soul on fire is that divine spark I feel when I’m fully present — in a conversation, a place, or standing under a sky that reminds me of God’s design. That’s where I feel most alive, most myself.”

She finds freedom in traveling and visiting new places:

“During a trip to Hawaii. The stunning landscapes, the super friendly locals, and the freedom of being somewhere no one knew me made it unforgettable. Without judgment or expectations, I could just be myself. I felt open, alive, and completely at peace — like my spirit could finally breathe.”

For Iohana, daring isn’t always jumping off cliffs or chasing adrenaline.

“The most daring thing I’ve ever done was starting the journey of self-love, coming from a place of not loving myself to giving myself a chance every day. It meant putting God first and trusting Him to forge my character. Letting go of old patterns and allowing Him to guide me has been a daily act of courage. It’s not always easy, but it’s the most powerful and rewarding path I’ve ever chosen — and I’d do it again without hesitation.”

She speaks about freedom not as an escape, but as a way of peace.

“Freedom to me is a clear mind, a healed soul, and a powerful spirit. It’s living in alignment with who I truly am, without fear or pressure to be anything else. It’s peace within and trust in God’s plan, knowing I’m exactly where I need to be.”

When asked where she’d wake up tomorrow if she could choose, her answer paints a vivid dream:

“Somewhere peaceful, surrounded by nature, with an amazing view — maybe mountains, ocean, or both. I’d be with my closest friends and family, the people I love most. No cellphones, no distractions, just us, talking, laughing, and soaking in the moment. The first thing I’d do is breathe in the fresh air and thank God for the opportunity.”

Her bucket list reads like a treasure map of endless possibility, No Limits:

“I want to travel the world, run a marathon, write a book, preach a sermon, host a podcast, have kids, sing, learn how to play the piano, and maybe even be interviewed someday — check ✔️ lol.”

Every part of her story circles back to faith, courage, and presence — to daring greatly in the small, everyday moments.

“Every day that I choose self-love and faith over fear, I’m reminded there are no limits to my strength.”

Her adventurer spirit in one word: “Daring.” No brainer that her go-to outfit is “Something comfy and ready for anything.”

“I’m a curious, eclectic, and spiritual soul, always seeking depth and meaning in the world around me,”

✨Sailer’s Vision:

Her connection to Sailer’s vision of freedom is definitely inspiring:

“I’m an explorer myself. I love the idea of endless possibilities. It reminds me that life isn’t about playing it safe, but about stepping into the unknown and discovering amazing things along the way.”

Every now and then, you meet someone whose energy reminds you to slow down, to laugh harder, to trust your faith, and to keep your heart open to the adventure of becoming. Iohana lives that reminder daily — living proof that when we walk in truth, anchored in purpose, and fueled by curiosity, life expands in the most beautiful, unexpected ways.

Here’s to living daringly, loving deeply, and keeping life light and authentic — just the way it’s meant to be.
